"Staff were amazing and room was spacious and clean. My only concern was the shower. As it was in a bath, and the bath was quite small. I found it very concerning that the water spout was longer than average and stuck out way too far. Someone could really hurt themselves, if not already if not careful going in and out of the shower."

"Set in the grounds of the May Day insane asylum, this lovely hotel and its attentive, hard working staff was a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit. We will be back. "

"It was excellent, very spacious even if parts of the carpet should be replaced. Originally it was a bit hard to find but we got there in daylight. "

"Amazing gem - stayed overnight. Amazing room ( deluxe): quality and attention to every detail. Beautiful comfortable bed and pillows, perfect shower, immaculately clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated... To top it off - exquisite dinner at onsite restaurant, definitely on par with top-rated restaurants if not better. One regret - did not stay long enough to try the spa! Friendly and delightful break in a long trip. It is an enthusiastic review, - but we stayed in overpriced motels and this...
