"Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! The location was also great, which a short walk over the river into the centre of York and the hotel was a perfect get away from the busy streets after a day walking around. "Warm welcome and offers of help with the luggage Smooth quick and friendly check in and shown to our room. Nice touch! Room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking (but that is just my preference). "Staff were attentive and courteous. We upgraded and used the Chambers Lounge which was a great experience. The food, drinks and breakfast in this lounge were plentiful. We went to the Station Bar in the evening which had a great atmosphere although the drinks are a little pricey, but well worth a visit if you are staying here."
