"It is only 2 minutes drive from the main motorway between Dunkirk and Antwerp. So it is very convenient. The restaurants in the town square are 4 minutes walk from the hotel and they offer an excellent menu.The bedroom windows have the normal heavy curtains but in addition they also have electric operated shutters that ensures a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was really good. "

"Everything was very nice but we were very disappointed with the bathroom which was very outdated. Small bath with a shower over but no shower curtain. The door was a wooden concertina door which didn’t open or close easily, quietly or completely. This spoilt an otherwise lovely place. The breakfast was ver good."

"Just checked out of the hotel today. Good- hotel is clean, bed comfortable and friendly staff. Sone are not. They provide taxi voucher so u pay €15 to go to city center and we used it too to go to the train station. The bad- it is far from the city and far from any bus stop or train. So if u don’t bike or have your own car you have to take taxi everywhere. Wifi connection was non existent in our room!!! They didn’t wash or change our coffee cups everyday"

"Nice property. Walkable to most of the attractions. Not much happening in the hotel itself. The food and drink prices are quite high. The dinning area is mostly empty. The room was big with basic amenities. Lot of eateries nearby. If you like pizza, don’t miss the pizza chain otomat. They can get you a cab to the station at 15 euros. Overall pleasant experience "

"Rooms are large but unusual layout. Distinct lack of storage space in bathroom. Hotel location towards the outskirts of old town but well within walking distance of all attractions. Breakfast very good with wide selection on offer. The property appears popular with visitors from USA. "

"The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained with lots of charming Easter decorations. The continental breakfast was fresh every morning, the bread, rolls and pastries straight from the bakers and the lovely helpful waitress couldn’t do enough to cater to everyone’s requests. She encouraged the guests to take away any leftovers for lunch or picnics. "
