We recently updated this charming bungalow to share with family and friends. As long time Airbnb hosts and avid travelers, we strive to provide the same great experience that we would want in a rental property. "Made in the Shade" is perfect for a larger family or a few friends looking for an authentic Folly Beach getaway. This is intended to be a property for families- there are only two beds and two baths (on septic) so it is not appropriate for parties, weddings, bachelorettes, or large groups.

The property is very private and secluded, but only steps (200m) from the beach and 1.2 miles to the hustle and bustle of Center Street a 10-minute bike ride, or 30-minute walk. There are essentially two separate apartments sharing a large back yard, massive deck with our 'spa shack' (an outdoor clawfoot soaking tub + outdoor shower), a large hot tub (seats 4) and two separate screen porch areas- perfect for meals, games, and happy hour.

The larger main half features new appliances, 60" 4K TV, Xfinity cable, business-class wifi, and a luxurious Cali King Brooklyn Bedding Semi-firm mattress in the master suite and two additional queen sleeper sofas (one in the sunroom, and one in the living room) with linens and pillows are perfect for the kids.

The smaller efficiency side is perfect for teenage kids, parents, or friends who want a little privacy or a different schedule. "Lil Shady" features a 44" smart TV with Xfinity cable package, queen size pull-out sofa, and a luxurious queen bed with a semi-firm memory foam mattress. Both units are included in this rental.

The house comes furnished with a fully stocked kitchen (with some cooking staples and condiments) and linens for the three sleeper sofas (under the TV). Altogether 1 King, 1 Queen, and three sleeper sofas. A great spot for a multi-generational family or group of friends looking for authentic Folly Beach charm and private, full-size property at a reasonable nightly rate.
