"I chose this place as a weekend retreat for some women in my family and we had a great time. It was easy to focus on each other and also spend some time praying and studying the Bible. Beautiful farm country and no tv distraction. Only downside was not having a bathroom downstairs but going upstairs was the only exercise we did all weekend so we didn't mind. We'd love to visit again!"

"The property is all you that see and read about in the listing and then some. The home is very clean, well organized and very well supplied. The host is very friendly and readily available if there is a need. He has gone above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay. The deck is large with a great view of the water. There is plenty of seating and tables if you want to eat on the deck. The dining room also has a huge table and the kitchen will let you prepare your favorite meals. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were a party of 8 adults with a 5 yr old and a 9 month old. The layout of the house was perfect and afforded great spaces for the children and adults. We rented a pontoon boat for the week we were there and tied it to the dock and boat house at the camp. We rode around the lake and found an awesome sand bar for swimming. We would have swam at the camp but it was more fun to take the boat out. At night we enjoyed the fire pit by the water. There are stores close by for groceries and a few restaurants if you feel like dining out. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. And, a very BIG THANKS to Bob for sharing this place with us. We had a great week. "
