"Was worried at first because of bad reviews. But my stay ended up being pretty good. The staff was friendly, especially Charmaine. I was worried because i read bad reviews mentioning her, but she was an absolute delight, we had playful banter as i walked through the lobby, and she was to be super helpful and a hard worker. "The property overall was well compacted so that all the parking was in the rear of the building. Access to highway was easy. GPS getting from my location to Hotel was off. Had to try several times. All the furniture in lobby, dining, rooms, gym, etc... looked and felt as if they were brand new. Hotel was very clean to include the parking lot. The hotel store was small with snacks and some toiletry item. The price was kind of expensive and you had to buy a minimum of $5 to put it on your bill....

"I stayed here when attending a conference at the Convention Center right before SXSW. Ten minute walk from the hotel meant I was able to leave my car parked for three days! Very good food, nice bar too, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend."

"Parking is always an issue with Austin downtown. At the time of my say, several streets and ramps from I35 were closed, making getting to the hotel a bit more challenging. The hotel is great if you're attending a conference. Staff were very friendly and I like the option of self parking. Though it would be nicer if parking was not as much for overnight stays. The pool has a nice view of the city skyline. "

Cute place, clean, comfy but no bathroom

"Cute little hotel. It is right on 6th street so expect noise. Our room was on the 3rd floor and faced 6th. Once we fell asleep we didnt notice the party life outside. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. The only complaint is i didnt realize when booking our room had no bathroom/ shower. And an upgrade wasnt available. The 3rd floor in our building had about 6 individual bathrooms with showers. They were all very clean and we ad supplies for showers in our room but still strange to have community bathrooms. It was a different experience but overall would recommend "
