But it was well equipped otherwise with a fridge, kettle and the air con and WiFi worked well. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful and they happily go the extra mile without the expectation of a tip. The hotel itself is situated next to Victory Square and other key visiting sights are walkable or a short taxi ride away. (BTW taxis are relatively cheap - can travel 5 or so miles for £3-4). "I had a varied experience. The property had changed owners, and they were not expecting me at 4 am. and I did not get a ride from the airport, so arranged it. Luckily I had proof and was given a room, and luckily there was someone there, though not expecting me. This was my entrance to central Asia and difficult. On a positive note, a new manager, Miriam was excellent, and even walked with me to a change machine, so I expect things to vastly improve. thanks"

Rooms are good size and clean. 24hr shop very close by.. i didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on it, but it looked fairly decent. For the price, definitely worth the stay here, and I would certainly stay again on a future trip to Bishkek."
