"Our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning so I made a reservation for the day before to ensure we could check in immediately. I messaged the hotel when i made the booking to advise of this and then again 5 days before I was due to arrive. I paid in advance. When we arrived at 6am they told us we were down as a no show and the room had been given away. "I had a varied experience. The property had changed owners, and they were not expecting me at 4 am. and I did not get a ride from the airport, so arranged it. Luckily I had proof and was given a room, and luckily there was someone there, though not expecting me. This was my entrance to central Asia and difficult. On a positive note, a new manager, Miriam was excellent, and even walked with me to a change machine, so I expect things to vastly improve. thanks"

"We really looked forward to this hotel, and were not disappointed. Very nice rooms, great staff, very simple but good breakfast. Great atmosphere and decor all around. My only gripe was that the AC unit in my room was very loud and went through cycles where it sounded at times like it was about to fall off the wall - as a result, I turned it off. Probably worth fixing. Everything else was perfect. Thanks Bugu!"

Great hotel.

"Everything about this stay was exceptional from the service to the cleanliness of the room, to courteous service. My only issue was my flight arrived early in the morning so I arrived at the hotel at 7am long before my 2pm check in so I waited 5 hours in the lobby to check in because they said they did not have any available rooms yet."

"We stayed 1 night at this hotel in May 2024. The Plaza Hotel Bishkek was a good place to stay in Bishkek. It’s directly across from a soccer stadium and also across from a major park. There are many restaurants within walking distance. City center and government buildings are all nearby."

"The air conditioning (AC) were not working at all, they were in a poor condition which once you switch off it does not start again. The hotel was out of hot water for the 48 hours. They said it’s a national problem. I gave my cloths for landury they have charged me 2600 for a few cloths which was not mentioned on thier description that laundry is out of pocket fee. One highlight point was the staff at the front desk and doormats was quite helpful and friendly. Overall very unorganized, Not recommended. "
