"This was our second stay. The location is excellent. It is in the midst of one of the most beautiful wine villages in France. It affords you the chance to hike to three nearby chateaus (ruins). It is very quiet and peaceful. Great food all around, and great wine, too. "

"Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. "We were just looking for a place to stop for one night, as we were passing through north Italy on our way to Croatia. There had been a problem with charging the card, and the booking was cancelled in their end. Anyway, the gave us two rooms for the price of one (we were a family of five travelling together), and were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers no designated parking space, so you must fin a public parking spot nearby. Can be tricky in daytime - Italians fight like cat and dogs over...

"The room was clean and comfortable, but a "double" bed meant two very small twin beds push together. The beds also moved easily on the wood floor. They should have larger twin beds that can be covered with a mattress cover to have a king bed. And they should put non stick covers on the bed legs. The AC was good and refrigerator was handy, but a kettle and coffee cups would be nice. "
