"Short but very comfortable stay . Would have loved to have walked from the grounds into neighboring countryside and hired bikes for the cycle paths- but weather put that idea out the window. "I was on a cycling holiday across the Netherlands and had cycled 50km when I arrived at the property. While checking I realised that I had left my bank card in the previous town some 10 km away. The proprietress checked me in without payment and after I had a badly needed shower drove me there and back to collect their card. Really friendly and personable and a very comfy bed!"

"Taurus is in a great location. It has friendly and really helpful staff. And.....it has a Fire Alarm! The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. The alarm woke at least one other guest but he didnt get out of bed! "

"Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified."

"I stayed from 11 days for WWII Operation Market Garden 80th Anniversary Events. The locaiton was perfect as east drive to all the areas with the A50 right there. The location is set in peaceful wooded area, nice hiking trails. It is elegant and classy. My room was terrific with a first floor patio door. It was so nice to open that door when back from long day of sigh seeing and sit outside. The resturaunt has indoor and outdoor dining areas that are quite popular. Food was excellent. ...

"Design Hotel with amazing features and a lot of stairs. Check in is done at sister hotel Blue as well as a champagne breakfast buffet. Wonderful atmosphere access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk from the train station for us. Can't wait to return. The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed. Thanks for a lovely weekend away. Only negatives were some of the room designs. There is limited space in the bathroom sink for things. The bathtub is in the room so the splash zone...

"This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit snug, especially with the TV at the foot of the bed. We will be back!"

"Efficient and friendly check in. Room and bathroom a bit cramped (where to open suitcase?). Great but pricey breakfast available. Nice bar. Amenities good. Good value. Very clean and up to date chain hotel. Although near train station, no noise when windows closed. Finding the driveway access was a bit tricky because of bicycle paths so dominant in Netherlands."

"Excellent location convenient for exploring the city and within a short walk of the train station. The hotel is oozing character maintaining the style and spirit of Eindhoven's long-standing connection with Philips. "Easy, friendly check in. We were early but left our luggage at reception, and still got our room earlier than check in time! Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from, the pancakes were yummy! Rooms very comfortable and was great having a bath and a separate shower. So close to the centre too! Would stay here again for sure."

"Good clean hotel right next to the train station but don't let put you off the train station is one of the best in Netherlands Which is always clean and tidy just like the Mercure.Breakfast is very Good with hot bacon and eggs fruits and very good pastry,s it's in a very good location for the centre which can be walked in 5<>10 min The main bus stop is next to the train station making for easy access to the surrounding towns like Beek and Berg en Dal and Buinigen which are all worth a visit.Nice Hotel Friendly Staff .. Great Stuff "
