Welcome to Casa del Lago! Situated in the Laguna Park area of Lake Whitney with its very own semi-private cove for fishing, swimming, and enjoying a day in the sun. Wonderful location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and unwind with family and friends. With its 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 Queen beds, 1 King bed and Full Futon, this property easily accommodates up to 8 guests. There are multiple marinas and boat ramps nearby if you want to bring your boat and cruise the lake for the day. We look forward to you coming in and enjoying our lake house.

Great little getaway
Our stay was great! We travelled from out of town and hauled our boat with us. The dock was available in cove and we were able to tie up to the dock for easy in and out boating trips. The house had everything we needed.

The bedrooms were perfect for our family and the linens were nice (tons of pillows as well!). The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We were very glad to have a washer and dryer on the premises, too. The check in/check out process was very simple.

My boyfriend and I needed to just get away for a few days. I will say this was the perfect place to do it. The house was super clean and the bed was so comfy. And the lake was absolutely gorgeous!! Can’t wait to go back with my kiddos!!!!

Hidden Treasure
Our high school boys had a fishing tournament on Lake Whitney. This home was at the perfect location for us. Everyone had their own room. My favorite was the cove out back where our boys came to say hi several times through out the morning. We hope to return to this beautiful lake and this home!

Good Times
Overall a good time. Had some bad weather, but we faired well. The property was as advertised. Really liked the location. There were a couple of issues, one was problems with the grill, and the other was not being able to use the dock for and day and a half. This was our sole reason for getting this property. Once it was fixed we used it a lot. Lots of fishing, swimming, floating, and yes jumping off the cliff. We all had a good time.

Great Peaceful Place
When our guys went to go into the house, they were in awe how nice this home was and it was very relaxing to them after a hard days. The requested to stay at this home while we finish our required work out there. It was everything and more than you could ask for. The communication between Jeff and I was on point and also checked to see if they arrived and then asked if anything else was needed. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a couple of couples
Our stay was a delight, starting with the booking and communication with Jeff. I sent him questions which he answered promptly and completely. Our stay was the first week in December and we opened the door to a clean house decorated for the holidays, starting with a fully lit Christmas tree and electric fireplace turned on in the den. Furniture and bedding was comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and not cluttered. The home is maintained with attention to the smallest of details. We enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting around the fireplace and touring the grounds outside. This is a perfect home for couples wanting a get away to the lake but does require climbing 4-5 steps inside to get around. Highly recommend this company and home.

They scammed us
This property is also listed on VRBO where we tried to book it. The website had an error and the property was booked, we were charged, but not given the confirmation or itinerary information. After contacting VRBO customer service we were refunded the fees that they charged but they were not able to refund the bulk of the booking which was close to $1000. We contacted Evolve in multiple ways and were told each time that they could not refund us since we didn't have a confirmation number. We ended up having to report the charge as fraud. They have pretty sorry customer service.

Nice clean place on a cool waterfront cove.
It’s a nice clean property with lots of amenities. The dock is down in s deep cove, which makes a fairly private cove. There’s allot of steps on the gangway to the dock, but we’ll worth it.

Nice Accommodations with Quirks
Nice, comfortable furnishings. Beds were great. Everything you need was supplied. Just bring your food and bathing suit! TV in all rooms was nice. The kitchen had everything including the dish soap and dishwasher soap. Everything was super clean. No lamps in living area, though. Only lighting was on the overhead fans. (Which were wobbly at higher speeds).Outside: I didn't do much because it was sooooo hot. I did not go down to dock as steps were way too steep. Keep that in mind if you are considering this place and have any problems at all with climbing stairs (especially in the heat). Gas grill was nice and had plenty of propane provided. Oh, and this is an upgraded TRAILER HOUSE. Weird layout. Small bedrooms. Shower in bathroom/laundry room is nice. Both bathrooms are on top level right next to each other! You walk through bedroom #2 to get to #3. You also walk through #2 for the back deck. Pictures depict the rooms well but fool you with layout. Cons: 1. There are no bathrooms on the same level as the bedrooms!!!! You have to climb the steep 4 stairs up to kitchen level and down the hall where 2 bathrooms sit next to each other! Not good if you are over the age of 40 and have to get up in the middle of the night. My 76 y/o sister had to sleep on the futon in order to be closer to toilet. Yes, the description mentions steps that may cause problems if you have mobility issues but it doesn't tell you that it is the ones inside the house that it is talking about. I thought it was the dock stairs. 2. Use of air freshener was very very EXCESSIVE! I am sensitive to perfumes and the bedding in the back room was so saturated with the smell that I could not sleep the first night. Gave me a headache that lasted throughout night and next day. We had unplugged all of the glades but it took 2 days for the smell to leave. 3. It seems to me that if I have to pay a cleaning fee, I should not have to take out the trash, strip the linens off the bed and deliver them to the laundry room, wash, dry, and put away all dishes used. This is not a big house to clean especially after a lot of the hard work is already done for you. I would like to say that I will be back but I won't. Too expensive for the issues that I encountered.

First, the PROS: House was very clean, nicely decorated, had comfortable beds, nice electric fireplace for ambiance and to warm the living room, a great assortment of kitchen ware if you wanted to cook meals, a picturesque view of the cove, and in a good location. As seasoned travelers and users of VRBO, here are some CONS: I would like to suggest an update to the description on VRBO. It was mentioned that the property required steps and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. Though there are only 4 steps, it should be clarified that the steps are inside the house and both bathrooms are upstairs but all the bedrooms are downstairs. As senior adults, though not disabled, it would have changed our decision to rent this property because of getting up at night to use bathroom and having to navigate stairs. There was an issue in the bathroom with green tub, the diverter valve is not working properly preventing enough water pressure to come up to the shower. Also there seems to be a problem at times with flushing the toilets. When one is flushed the other gurgles and bubbles up. Don't want to be sitting on it when that happens. If someone is showering and a lot of water is draining out of the home the toilets tend not to want to flush at all for a while. Please note that I did not contact property manager about these issues, we just worked through them. The checkout instructions are not received until after the booking is secured and I think it should be stated up front. It seems to me that if I have to pay a cleaning fee, I should not have to take out the trash, strip the linens off the bed and deliver them to the laundry room, wash, dry, and put away all dishes used. We did see however, that the checkout instructions on the back of the door in the house were slightly different than what was sent to me after the booking. My intent is not for this to sound like a gripe fest, but to let you know how you could improve the description in VRBO and to let the property owner know about a couple of issues. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the visit to the area.

Amazing views and cute little house. The layout was funky. You had to walk through one bedroom to get to another and the fourth bedroom was so tiny. The only complaint I have is that, once we got in bed, I noticed fresh blood on the sheets. Totally grossed me out. I emailed the owner and got no response. I normally bring my own bedding for this very reason but was in a rush this time and forgot. Wont happen again!
