"Absolutely the most personable and professional front desk staff we have ever encountered. Eileen provided us with an introduction to University of Virginia and Monticello and seemed eager to assist us in any way possible. She then reached out later by text, as did Marcus. Exceptional service for a family friendly suite type hotel. The room is designed to provide for longer stay with a kitchenette (full size refrigerator, cooktop, etc.), which we didn't need for an overnight stay. The sofa bed provided a comfortable seat and theking bed slept really well. We haven't had breakfast yet, but I am sure it will be fine. A great stopover experience! Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay at The White Elephant Inn! The house was charming, with so many interesting details that made our experience both enjoyable and comfortable. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the standout features was that each room had its own private bathroom, which made it incredibly convenient for everyone.The only thing that caught us off guard was discovering that the owner lives in a separate unit attached to the house. However, this wasn’t an issue at all, as they were very respectful of our space and kept to themselves. That said, we did feel the need to be a bit quieter coming back after a night out, as the owner's unit is located in the basement.The house itself was clean, functional, and ideal for our needs. The only small suggestion I have is that one of the main bedrooms was missing a flat sheet and pillowcases on the pillows, which may have been a small oversight. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again, especially in the summer when we could take advantage of the pool!"

Omly 2 small complaints: asked for wake-up call' never got it I was awake anyways so it did not matter but I did need to be on the road on time so if I wasn't awake, it would have been a big problem for making my meeting on time. No fruit except apples and oranges at breakfast - no bananas or chunk fruit"
