What I didn't like is the food. There's not much choice when it comes to food. I have went to other resorts in Cancun and the food was better, more options. I will not go to this resort again.

The service was great. The drinks were good, but the food was average all inclusive resort food. Room was clean, beach was great. Highly recommend to rent a beach cabana for a day and to get a massage at the spa.

Our stay at RIU Palace Las Americas was fantastic! Our room was spacious and was well maintained. The food and drinks were excellent with a great diversity of options! The beach and patio areas were beautiful! After all that, the most outstanding feature of this resort was definitely the people! Every staff made a point to smile and greet us at every opportunity. We never had to wait to be served at any restaurant, lounge or even on the beach! We especially enjoyed going to the lounge each evening before dinner for live piano music! We want to celebrate the service provided by Andrea for the friendly check in service, Enrique serving us in the beach area, Paula providing great service in the Piano Lounge and Manager Thomas at the Black and White Steakhouse for insuring our anniversary dinner was an occasion to be remembered! We were highly impressed and would recommend for a relaxing, hassle free vacation.
