The receptionist was welcoming and nothing is too much trouble Our room was absolutely beautiful and the doggie welcome pack and bed was lovely touch We ate in the restaurant last night. "Lovely room so able to relax. Good communication from the hotel - it wasn't open the night I stayed but I was sent details of the keypad for the front door & key to the room was available. A list of food delivery options was provided as food not served that night. Tea/coffee in the room plus toiletries. It's a lovely place to stay &, if visiting the area, close to the main road, beaches, small villages but only 20 minutes or so from Plymouth. Definitely recommend whether for business (decent free wifi) or leisure."

"Well equipped for a compact unit, quiet and peaceful location but within easy access of lovely walks on Bodmin moor and around the tiny country lanes Hosts on hand for information on surrounding local area. Small enclosed garden area which was ideal for the dog Very relaxing weekend break"

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business. The day kennels, although we didnt use them, are an added bonus. The cottage is situated in a great location, so many dog friendly places to visit, all around 30 minutes drive, some of the roads going out of the property are very narrow but asits Cornwall,its kind of what you expect. We visited a few beaches, the Eden project, and the lost gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House and Gardens, all of which are dog friendly and we would highly recommend. Caroline left us a nice bottle of red and some scones,on our arrival, which was a nice surprise and greatfully received. We will definitely be back as this has been a wonderful break for both us and our dogs. "
