"El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again. "

"We stayed at the property for 1 night primarily because we heard good reviews of their zip lines over waterfalls and thought it would be more convenient. Ziplines were definitely the highlight and our family really enjoyed it. The route up was quite the adventure as it was steep and very very rocky. The tour not only included ziplining but a dip in one of the pools at the base of a water fall (no towels) and a rappel down a waterfall. "For a small apartment, I was quite surprised to find it boasted 3 bedrooms. This little home featured everything I required for my stay--full kitchen, plus washing machine for my laundry. I was quite happy staying there, and Kristian, the owner, made sure I had everything I needed. More than just the owner, I met a new friend in Kris."

"My family stayed at the property and had a wonderful time. Arturo and Maribel are the caretakers and are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They keep the property in fantastic shape and are extremely helpful. I highly recommend hiring Maribel to do the cooking, as she is amazing!! The pool is great, the beach was just fine for swimming. Make sure to visit the "Monkey House" (casa de los monos) nearby, as that was my families favorite excursion. Again, I cannot stress enough how...

"We had a lovely stay. Very helpful staff. The reception team helped book a last minute guided walk in Monteverder NP. Bar staff were very friendly, even gave us some traditional Costa Rican cooking tips! Big room with a lovely view, when the weather allowed. Breakfast is definitely skewed in favour of those who like eggs! But very nice with fresh fruit and tea/coffee/juice."

"Everything about Camino Verde B&B was top notch! Diego and his team at the front desk were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast staff were friendly and provided fast service. You had a choice of five different breakfast combos that would suffice all diet types. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend a stay here!"

"The staff are exceptional and friendly. Service was prompt and courteous. The facilities are in need of some updates as some of the fixtures show their age and wear (paint/caulk, etc), mainly in the bathroom. The rooms were comfortable but a bit dated as well. We did love our stay! "

"The staff at Poco a Poco were so incredibly kind and accommodating, they were a pleasure every time we had a question or needed something. The amenities of the property were clean and well-maintained, having a covered pool and hot tub was such a big plus for us since we visited during the rainy season. The property even has a walking trail on its grounds where you can see capuchin monkeys in the trees above you! They're also in the process of updating and revamping the interiors of some of the units, so I can only imagine how much better the property will be after! I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay again during my next time in Monteverde! "
