"Wifi didn't work in our room. 14 oC this morning, but no heating available. Meal very disappointing. 3 /5 lights didn't work in bedroom. It was tired and needed TLC to improve it. Arrival time was 3 pm, but no one around at 3.30. Then reception closed again until 5 pm, so no help available. We won't be back. "

"Accommodation and room was amazing, However.... after a 6 hour drive in 35 degree heat there was no water or drinks to be bought. The bar did not open till 7pm (we arrived at 4pm) and so resorted to getting in the car and driving another 3o mins each way to the closest supermarket. I woukd book again but stop enroute with more water."

"This is the Bed and Breakfast you read about - a quiet French neighborhood less than ten minutes driving time from Chartres Center. The hosts are delightful with lots of suggestions on anything you may be interested in. The garden outside is idyllic and an oasis. The breakfast is served in the quiet of your room with homemade preserves and pastries. The hospitality is unmatched."

"Stated aircon but it didnt work and barely blew out air. The room was cool with two floors but we did find some dark black hairs around and the doormat wasn't clean. "This was a hidden gem we were so happy to find. Francois met us to let us in to private, gated parking and set us up. Our garden floor room was so precious with its huge bed and sitting area. Homemade breads/jams, coffee, tea, juices were a delicious start today, Shower was super hot and the largest towels were wonderful. We stayed two nights because we lived our stay so much. We were able to walk to dining and shopping easily. Secure gate made us feel safe coming and going."

On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean.
