"Beautiful hotel in a great location. Just a short walk away from the Gion, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a public bath I took advantage of every night to unwind and relax from a day of walking 20k steps. "

"This is a modern japanese hotel with a public bath and spa. The vibe and the design of the lobby restaurant and amenities are an expression of modern kyoto. The rooms are minimalistic but sufficient and intimate. Walking distance to major locations such as Kiyumizu-dera, Kodai-ji temple,Hokanji temple, Sannenzaka , ninenzaka, and a stop away from Kyoto Station. I felt like the place is young fresh and got more value than what I paid for. The buffet breakfast got practical selection but quality fare. I recommend this place for the stylish budget conscious traveller"
