"The reception staff were great, very helpful and very kind. The activities & excursions staff that we used to rent a moped were unorganised, we paid a 5,000 Baht deposit instead of our passports. They lost the booking slip as well as the 5,000 Baht we paid, we eventually did get the 5,000 Baht back but it took well over an hour, they still hadn’t found the slip at this point, so if we would’ve used our passports as a deposit, the passports would have been lost. "Our stay here was great. We came to Koh Samui for the nightlife and were very pleased with the accommodation’s proximity to everything including pubs, the beach and shops (it’s practically right in the middle of everything). "

"Very good location - right in the middle of chaweng (a two minute walk to quality bars/restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc), and at the same time located on the beach - can easily walk barefoot onto the middle of chaweng beach. My room was fifteen metres from the sand. Good value for money. The real downside, the compromise, is that it’s not the best in terms of fixtures and fittings, decoration and cleanliness, and the surrounding site is in parts detelict. But they do seem to be working...

"Half way between Lamai and Chaweng Beach. For 100 baht you can catch a tuk on the main road. This is the nicest place out of 10 resorts that I stayed at on Koh Samui. Only negative, the cottages are quite a ways into the resort, but they do have staff with carts to assist you."

"What a great stay at The Hive. This is a wonderful boutique style hotel near the water with easy access to town. Rooms are bungalow style with AC. Super clean with great staff all around. Lots of chairs around to pool so no need to get up at 6 to throw a towel on a chair. Breakfast is great and lots of coffee options. Ive already recommended to friends and family who are now booked for March."
