"This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."

"Large room with 2 large european style beds. View is great with balcony.Included buffet dinner and breakfast was also good. Strange thing there was no shower in our room. You had to go to onsen for shower. In the end a nice 1 night stay.On top of a mountain so you will need car."

It is also a fantastic position, just a stones throw from the central station and the main shopping areas, food places. If you haven't a car, you are going to travel a lot by train, so this is the perfect spot. There is also a very convenient bus that goes straight from the airport to the station.
