"Its close to the train station. At the time of the check in and check out there was nobody... for check in we need to call someone, and upon check out.. we waited, and because nobody was there we did the check out with a machine and we didnt know where to leave the plastic card cover... that we left it on the desk."

"It was well kept from ice. It was a traditional Japanese stay with futon bedding and onsen bath. It was convenient near the ishiuchi maruyama ski resort. "

"I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. We tried a meal at the hotel and were asked to pay in advance and then given no menu - we just got what was given (which wasn’t bad actually). Theu have their own rental for...

"Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the station and chair lift. Kitchen staff is very thoughtful. I stayed for 3 nights, although all 3 nights were hot pot for dinner with the same ingredients, the soup base was different for every night. Staff are super friendly, making you feel welcome. The only issue I had was on the first night when there kids staying and they ran around the whole lodge making all sort of noise until late."
