"The hotel is very close to the center of town. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The hot springs are not tattoo friendly."

"Only one night stay but can’t complain and was able to store my bags there after check out while I went to the snow monkeys which was a great bonus. "

"Horrible accommodation. Booked a non smoking room and received a smoking room. When we requested a room change, we were told that only smoking rooms were left. The alarm clock in the room rang at 4am in the morning. Don't stay here."

"The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Absolutely made our stay feel like we were guests in their own home. The building is older and a bit worn but this adds to the experience of staying at a traditional guest house. It feels like it has a very rich history of welcoming guests.
