「A wonderful cosy house for a country escape. We enjoyed the chilly nights inside around the fire and the sunny afternoons out on the deck. 」

「Great, quiet location - just a short walk to local shops, cafes, restaurants and Four Pillars distillery. There are numerous wineries, good bushwalks and a popular chocolaterie/ice creamerie nearby. Accommodation is modern, very well-appointed and comfortable. The Treetop Retreat has a lovely leafy outlook and a private terrace area with bbq. The only downside is that our stay coincided with a low intensity heatwave and we found the fan in the bedroom to be inadequate for a good night’s sleep....

「We loved the house, but noticed in other reviews just minor things that could be better including sliding door is very hard to close and lock. Dog hair on outdoor furniture. Backyard garden was very overgrown and in need of maintenance. We had to duck under small trees to walk on the path and the grass needed whipper snippering. The master bed was incredibly comfortable but the leather fabric was flaking on the bed and it’s well passed it’s used by date. 」
