「Good value , great location , nicely appointed rooms , only reason I marked it down was the walls were very thin , could hear the guest next door on the phone at 6:15am , don’t know if he just had a loud voice but woke us up , other than that I’d recommend this hotel 」

「For an extremely friendly stay I can highly recommend Balmacara. The rooms are excellent with great views either over the Loch - front - or the mountains - back. The owners and staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. The hotel itself, being just a mile or so on this side of the Skye Bridge, is ideally placed for a day on Skye. I can also highly recommend the restaurant, which is helpful given the dearth of options in the area. 」

「Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. 」
