「This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....

「Beautiful location--pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Be prepared for the stairs, but it is so worth it! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. First class interior. Cant recommend it enough!」

「My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous.
