「The hosts were wonderful, friendly and very good cook. Plus, he is a fabulous musician playing the luth after dinner and singing with his wife for our delight! The setting in the wilderness of the high Cretan mountains was a discovery for us. Highly recommended to discover traditional Cretan hospitality.」

「This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. 「We had a wonderful stay at the Rafkos mansion. Stelios the owner took us wherever we needed to go and we had delicious meals at one of the local restaurants. It would be wise to have a car because it’s in a village about 30mins. from Heraklion. Stelios is the definition of Greek hospitality! 」

「A small group of modern appartments in a rural location with a great pool and stunning views. 20 min walk from village with good restaurants and shops. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Going breakfast available. The walk back from the village is steep but a taxi was 5 Euros. If you get the exact Google Maps location it is not difficult to find. 」

「Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. 」

「Disappointing room n staff. We booked double bed room but it was two separate single beds, impossible to connect. there’s no door you inter to room from a window. The front staff yelled to the guests, instead of yelling to staff and trained well. After we did chencked-out n returend key to a nice staff, A rude staff come n yelled to us “stop by to front to do check out properly!! “, “ You know, this is a hotel, you should come to front!!” like ordering to his own kids. 「It was a fantastic stay! Pros:- - The property is new and stylish. - Staffs are friendly and helpful, particularly Olga. Thanks to her and other staffs. - I had a rental car and the property offers free parking. - The mini market is only 2 mins walk from the hotel. - The Jacuzzi was another enjoyable feature! 「Vi valgte dette sted da det var godt og billigt og vi ville gerne være i nærheden af lufthavnen fordi vi skulle afsted tidligt. Det er lidt selvtjekind. Man får en mail med koder til indgang og værelse. Lejlighederne er virkelig flotte, der er et lille køleskab pengeskab kapselmaskine. Super lækkert badeværelse. Hvis man får i den høje bygning, er man garenteret næsten strand udsigt. Der er lidt uro, da området bære præg af strand elsker og party. Men det er til at holde ud. 」
