「We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. 「What a great place to relax. The property abuts the shore--maybe a 60-second stroll down a grassy, gentle slope where adirondacks and the dock await. Or just hang out on the patio to watch from there. Warm during the day, cooling off at night, lobster by the beach -- just the perfect summer getaway. 「Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that...

「We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder. 「We had a wonderful stay at the Poet's cabin. It is a nice little place for visiting the Acadia National Park area. It also has a very good sitting area outside and the hosts are very helpful and welcoming! The only issue is that the door opening to the bathroom is very low (I'm 6'2 and hit my head multiple times on the top of the door frame), and the shower is very small. The home is exactly as advertised and a great place to stay, but wanted any other "taller" people to be aware before booking.」

「This was a great place to stay for our little family while visiting the Bar Harbor/ Acadia area. The cabin was comfy and more than enough room for a family of 3. Everything was stocked well, very clean and well thought through with renters in mind. Both Bar Harbor and Acadia were about 10 minutes away and easy to get in and out of. The hike from the cabin was a perfect way to go see the sunset. Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area! 」
