「The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Was put in what felt like the highest room in the tower, decor was a little dated, but very comfortable with a large bathroom. Food available was a highlight, very reasonably priced for good quality, with a nice breakfast included. Would happily stay again if I'm ever back in the area.」

「One of our rooms still had a discarded pizza box from a previous user still with food in it. Communal toilets are very old and battered. Some of the rooms we couldn't open the balcony doors. The restaurant staff gave the feeling that they didn't want to be there. The rooms, food and facilities from a comfort point of view are excellent and the reception chap we booked in with was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. Would stay again. 」

「部屋の手入れが行き届いており建物の古さを感じさせない、駅から徒歩5分以内なのも良い。 チェックイン21時迄とあるが、バーが開いている間は問題ない模様、熱波で鉄道が遅延したので21時半到着となったが問題なくチェックインできた。 夕食提供は従業員の出勤状況に左右されるようなので事前に確認した方が安心。メニューはそこまで豊富でなく、バーガーやツマミがメイン。自分でツマミを持ち込んでお酒だけというのもあり。 緩いのが平気なら快適に過ごせると思う。」

「歴史ある館を利用したホテルで、建物も暖炉のある広い部屋もとても雰囲気がある。バスルームも豪華であるが、シャワーがレインシャワーなのが残念。奥行きのある芝生の庭、果樹園、イングリッシュガーデンに囲まれており、散歩するのが楽しい。ラグジュアリーホテルと銘打つだけのことはある、美しい場所。 ただ一つ、チェックインの際、予約が間違った名前でされていたらしく、しばらく手間取った。」

「3度目の利用です。リフトがないのでいつも2階の部屋でスーツケースを持って階段を上るのに苦労していました。今回はフロントの女性がスーツケースが多いのを見て1階の部屋に変えてくれました。感謝でいっぱいです。」
