「I will have to say what many others have said, it is an amazing experience to spend the night in a real caboose. The owners have gone out of their way to make it as authentic as possible short of rocking it while you are sleeping. My favorite part though was that how in a town that sometimes feels like Disneyland you have the luxury of quiet, privacy and a beautiful view just steps from downtown. 」

「Everything about the property was great and as described. The only problem was that there was a patch of broken glass that my daughter found with her foot. I guess the housecleaner didn't thoroughly vacuum.」

「The local was perfect. Was able to walk to several brew pubs. Parking was off site but was available at all hours. The balcony was perfect for sitting out a having cocktails looking over the river and park. Will be staying here again.」

「The property managers were pleasant and available to assist us in checking in and accessing the property. The lodgings were clean, but spartan. Kitchenette seemed like it was missing glassware (only one wine glass), could have used more towels. There wasn't much atmosphere to the property and the shared features such as the rooftop deck could have used much more attention to make it inviting. Overall, clean and servicable, but spartan. Loved the easy access to parking and the beach!」

「wonderful location - close to the lake and beach access. There is no AC - which on a hot week could be a problem. Needs some work on maintenance (windows shade, windows not working, shower door....) we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Lake Tahoe!」

「Everything was perfect. The host is a great communicator. Later in our first day he checked to see if we needed anything but nope, the unit, supplies, and cleanliness were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us this way. 」

「Everything was good! Could use a better mattress on the pull out bed my son ended up just sleeping on the couch. Same with the bedroom mattress very springing. Other then that great」

「This unit is located right in midtown within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars. It is also a fairly short walk to the river and downtown. Despite being on the main street in Reno it was actually pretty quiet. The rooms were clean, well stocked with towels and I appreciated having a place with two bedrooms and two bedrooms. 」

「We had a nice few days at the condo. The condo has everything you need. There wasn't anything that we were lacking, except for air conditioning. But thankfully the condo has many nice stand up fans. We needed them as it was 98 in Tahoe. We really appreciated the stand up paddle board we used at the lake. The rooms were comfy and we felt like we were at home. It's very close to everything on the north side. We would definitely stay there again. 」

「We enjoyed our stay in Tahoe. The unit was clean and well appointed. It was small. The bed was in an alcove of sorts - not really a room. It is a good size for a couple, more than that would be pretty crowded. The complex it is in was very quiet. 」

「It’s a studio with updated interior in an old complex. Cute but not without its inconveniences or oddities. I had to call customer service to get standard arrival instructions from the host and then was very surprised to arrive and find a multi-step process was still required to fully complete check-in. 」

「Really enjoyed the area. The Sparks Marina has a lot to offer. The apt complex is fantastic. I rent a lot through VRBO and never haveI put in a complaint regarding a rental. This is way out of my character but this was soooo unacceptable I need the OWNERS to be aware of these shortcomings. Checkin was not acceptable, We we’re approved for a 2:00 checkin and couldn’t access the apt until 4:20, regular checkin was at 3:00. We had perishables that needed to be refrigerated but the frig was...

「Decided to test out ski hills in Tahoe and this was a perfect spot. Close to all ski hills and the kitchen was perfect for us to cook at home. Hot tub right out front of unit was great.」
