"Chez Poky is the BEST B&B in Tainan. It exceeds 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It's well designed, beautifully decorated, and the host, Poky Hsu is friendly, helpful and gave us the VIP treatment, as I'm sure he does with all his guest. His guidance and recommendations for Tainan are spot on! The Taiwanese breakfasts served were delicious with beverage and fruit. The amenities were plentiful, including thick plush cotton towel, complimentary snacks and beverages. Poky recommended a specialty dessert place called...

"期待した通りのかわいい民宿でした。チェックインのスタッフはとても親切で、日本語のガイドブックも貸してくれました。お部屋のベッドのマットレスはちょうどいい柔らかさで、とても寝やすくゆっくり休めます。周辺には有名な飲食店も多く、テイクアウトしてゆっくりお部屋で食べました。バスルームは、シャワーカーテンがないのですが、床はよく乾き、問題なかったです。チェックアウト後に、充電器を忘れたのですがスタッフの方がすぐに連絡をくれました。あいにく既に台南を離れていたので、2ヶ月後にまた台南に行く際まで預かってくれることになり、その親切さに感動しました。広いお部屋だったので、一人だと少し値段は高いですが、とても充実して過ごすことができました。"

"I was glad we had a mandarin speaker with us to call the proprietor when we arrived as we didnt know what to do when everything was locked up. But once we called and he arrived, it was an awesome place to stay. Loved the location in historic Tainan (only street parking a couple blocks away available) and all four of us found it very roomy with a nice shared sitting area/kitchen outside our private room. And free snacks upon arrival. I hope to stay there again some day!"

"The location was spectacular. All the food and attractions we wanted to see were within a few blocks. The rooms are modern and clean. They are a little dark but that is the aesthetic. Staff were very nice and helpful. There’s a washer and dryer if you need on the communal floor. "

"A very nicely decorated old house in a convenient location. Quite easy to find parking spaces nearby and there are many dining options around. There are basically everything you need inside the house, and the owner is ready to help if you need anything. The only issues is that the stairs inside the house are quite steep (which is a common feature in old houses in Tainan) so be careful if you are staying with young children and elderly. "Top hotel in a super convenient location. Service is out of the world, I've never seen any room cleaning that put our stuff back so neatly. Hotel also has a sauna and public bath free for guests. It's across from the train station and has a great collection of very local food places in the area that opens very late. "

Nice hotel in the center of city

"This is my second time staying at Fushin Hotel because of the good experience I had last year. They didn't disappoint this year with free shuttle service, comfortable and spacious room, delicious breakfast, free self laundry service, and friendly staff. The location is also excellent within short walking distance to several attractions. Definitely will stay with them again on my next trip."

"The hotel is located in the older part of town. But that makes it very central and convenient. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, polite and helpful. The room was modern, clean and tidy. There are loads of dining options near the hotel and sights are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transportation. The hotel also has bikes for guests to borrow, although we didn't have a chance to use them (and probably wouldn't have because the traffic is a little too busy)."
