Our cousin suggested the Shangri La to stay since it is immediately adjacent to the regular train station and convenient to the bus routes. We have stayed here twice now to visit Tainan and get to know the city. The hotel is outstanding. The staff is excellent. The breakfast offered with the room is substantial. The rooms are neat .. clean .. and well appointed. We plan to use the hotel as our base of operations to explore more of southern Tainan in future trips. "
