「This home is such a unique and beautiful place to stay! You feel like you're in the jungle with lush greenery surrounding every view, yet you're super close to the convenience of beaches and stores in Princeville and a short drive to the super cool town of Hanalei. 「There was an ungodly amount of rules at this property. So much so that we left the last two nights and booked a resort instead. There were a good amount on the listing, but I just figured the owners must have been taken advantage of in the past, so they are super firm upfront. The first thing they ask you to do, which most places also ask, is that you read the rule book. But holy moly, the rules are out of control. One example: "NO MARCO POLO. ITS ANNOYING." No slime, no play doh, no loud noises...

「We enjoyed the location - walk to a beach for sunrise and kayak in the evening on the river. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and it was fantastic to have a kitchen with a nice size refrigerator. There was even free laundry on premise! Complimentary beach gear and kayak equipment were available. The grounds would have benefited from more watering and love. We look forward to a return visit.」

「Unbeatable location for sure. Spouse and I stayed for 5 nights in August with 10-year-old kid. The place was the perfect size for our family. A couple was staying in one of the other units but we hardly knew they were there. No stove or dishwasher in the kitchenette but there is a microwave, a good sized fridge, and lots of dishware. Navigating up and down the spiral staircase was fine for us but may have been a bit tricky with smaller kids, older folks, or larger folks. 」

「This rental was great for my husband and my honeymoon. Super short walk to the beach. Great shopping 3 miles down and the rental had everything you’d need to cook at the property. There was also supplies in the bathroom like sunscreen and shower supplies. Wonderful quiet outdoor seating area where we drank coffee. Would definitely recommend and go back if I’m ever in Hawaii on the big island. 」
