The property lived up to it’s reputation on reviews around overall cleanliness. Nice accommodations. Great customer service by the front desk manager who is very likable and capable. He spoke to drivers for me, as his English is pretty good. The owner is a nice Economics Professor. There are few amenities. . No safe in the room, but the cupboard has a lock. My room had no fowl odors, but the room next door I visited did. I recommended they use some bicarbonate and soda to pour down the drains. . A common issue in Bali hotels. No fridge. No way to heat water. No potable water for drinking. Very basic. Air conditioner was fine. Second floor was great for privacy. No noise. Nice bed, comfortable and clean. WiFi works. No hot water in bathroom basin, but the shower worked well and was hot when I needed it. You need to ask to get the room cleaned. But, they brought whatever I needed in the way of toilet paper, new towels, etc. They have little bamboo racks outside the room you can hang wet clothes on. The place has a nice ambience. The eatery next door is probably great, I didn’t eat there, but they put some of my things in their fridge for me. So, I definitely recommend this place. It’s in an easy to locate part of the town of the main road.
