"This is one of the most unique historical properties we stayed at, very nice surrroundings. Service started great and waiter for dinner was outstanding. But at breakfast Miguel reprimanded us twice for ordering coffees only for two of us and breakfast for our son although we received approval from the owner. "This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

"We had a very nice visit with fabulous service. The room was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. We didn’t realize that the restaurant is only open a few days a week, we were on foot and they helped us call out for pizza.
