「waterheadという場所にあり、amblesideの中心からは離れているが、歩いて15分だしまあまあなロケーション。 スタッフの感じは明るくアジア人に対しても差別は感じなかった。 朝ごはんのレベルは高く盛り付けは品がいい。 部屋はシングルだったが、ベッドはダブルサイズで清潔であり快適。アップグレードされたのかもしれないが。ただし部屋はロッジ風で宿泊客の通り道だったためカーテンをしておかないと外から中が見えます。湖水地方にしてはリーズナブルなお値段だったので、こんなものかも。セントラルヒーティング《ラジエーターと言いますが》完備。」

「Husband stayed here on his own previously on walking trip, bought me this time and we got the 4 poster room, billed as being best room in the Hotel, Room 12. Has dual aspect windows with amazing views and a jet bath. Restaurant and food was amazing. Nice choice of breakfast although trimmed down due to Covid-19. Free toiletries, tea/coffee, bed was very comfy and room very spacious. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Definitely coming back!」
