「バスタブ付きの部屋だったのでお湯をためたら、シャワーのお湯が出なくなりました。2人のうち1人は水を浴びることに・・・ 2泊目にタオルを交換してくれておらず、スタッフも常駐ではないため湿って清潔ではないタオルを使わなくてはいけませんでした。」

「Hit really lucky weather wise it was a beautiful weekend, B&B is in excellent location just a stones throw from Ambleside town we checked in efficiently with Jo who is really warm and welcoming - room was comfortable and well presented with everything we needed. Spent 2 lovely days around Ambleside with a great breakfast to set us up each day. Would recommend and return.」

「朝食はビュッフェ形式だったので、フルイングリッシュ ブレックファーストは期待できなかったが、起き抜けに摂る朝食の 質・量としては特に問題は無かった。 エレベーターは無いので（設置されていないのが普通）、思いスーツケースを持ち運びするのは大変。 ただ、チェックイン中に、スタッフがスーツケースを部屋まで運んでくれて、とても助かりました。 ホテルスタッフは皆とても感じが良かった。 お風呂もジェットバスが備わっていてお得感があった。 バス停から徒歩1分程の距離なので、とにかく便利。」

「Alison was a great host. The guest house is perfectly located as you can easily walk into the centre of Ambleside or walk to the pier to go on a Windermere Lake Cruise. I had a very comfortable stay and the cooked breakfast was delicious. 」

「We went as a family of 4 and our stay was great. No problem at all except we got a bit cold at night, but that’s it! Everything else was great. We got free parking just up the road courtesy of the b&b management and breakfast was also included, which wasn’t mentioned on the initial booking. So bonuses all round really!」

「The location was very good & the hotel provided a parking permit for the pay & display car park across the street. Room was small which was fine but the en suite bathroom is not even a little bit sound proof so doesn't leave much to the imagination! The water pressure for the shower wasn't great & the water stopped intermittently whilst in the shower. Breakfast was nice but limited to full English, salmon & scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup. 」

「It was much better than my expectation during my one week stay there. I was looking forward everyday for a piece of cake waiting in my room. Only thing that annoyed me was people stayed a room next to mine slammed doors every time when they in and out the house and their room, but it was only a few days and the rest of days were very quiet.」

「 アンブルサイドのバスターミナルから徒歩3分と移動に最高の立地。とはいえ喧騒さはなく落ち着いた雰囲気。アンブルサイドはウィンダミアンに比べて街並みがシックで大人の雰囲気がある。湖水地方の観光地への中間に位置しているので、どこに行くにも便利。 部屋は可愛い家具や飾りがあり、ベッドは天蓋付きだった。シャワーが瞬間湯沸し器タイプで操作に戸惑ったが、親切に教えてくれた。 朝食は伝統的なイングリッシュブレックファーストで内容の選択もできる。 コスパも高くパーフェクト！特に女性にオススメです」

「Ultimately the cottage seems to be a home to the owners how they like it. Cosy, practical & functional. Absolutely fine for us and accurately described - location really good & parking great for 1 vehicle we have a discovery and no problem. We took a fire stick down but you can’t link that up to the network, which was unusual- no porch for wet stuff, but you can see this from advert so again prepared for it. Anyway really enjoyed stay and would book again. 」
