Kangarutha Cottage is Close to Tathra on the edge of tall coastal forest. The Kalaru to Tathra bike path is right outside the property gate giving easy access to town, or the mountain bike trails, either on foot or by bike. The Farm is ideally situated to access the Coastal beauty of Bournda National park. The Farm itself is on 240 acres, and it also offers great walks and picnic spots near hidden lakes, and plenty of wildlife. Horses are agisted on the property and it is possible to bring your own horse with you for a daily fee - contact owner for information
The Cottage is cosy, (sleeps 4) with 1 main queen bedroom and a small bedroom with 1 or 2 singles ( or 1 King when joined) and one bathroom in the main building - all linen is supplied. Cook up a treat in the large well equipped kitchen or on the Weber BBQ in the covered courtyard. Relax and enjoy the country view from the loungeroom . Watch TV, play games, or read a book. There is an option of a wood heater or reverse cycle heating.
A tennis court and basket ball ring will keep the kids busy.
The house is surrounded by established fenced gardens. so up to 2 dogs are welcome.(no pups thanks)
NB. Optional extra: An adjoining ‘lodge’ , accessed by a covered walkway has another queen bedroom with attached bathroom plus a second bedroom with 2 long singles that zip into a king bed. All linen is supplied. The Lodge also has a lounge area with basic TV and couch. Ask the owner for further details. This area sleeps 4 and would suit a second family or grand parents. Extra charges per person applies to the lodge accommodation.
