Easy access for an early international flight. Smooth check in and out. Decent room, comfy bed, could use some more variety on the beds with pillow choices though, all were the same, soft and squishy, no medium / support pillows unfortunately.

Most unprofessional check-in: the front-desk agent checked another guest in parallel. As a result we were charged again for an already paid room (instead of just securing a deposit). When we found out and made her aware, she started blaming another colleague about our booking not being properly entered into the system: “I am so sorry, but my colleague…” The hotel itself is conveniently located right across from the Qantas Domestic Transfer terminal but at the time of our check-out it was still closed and the transfer bus wasn’t running either. We took the first train to get to the other terminal. Tip: this hotel is good if you arrive/leave from international, if you arrive/depart from domestic it is quite inconvenient and takes extra time (and money) to switch terminals.
