Based on other reviews there are very good rooms and very bad ones. And I got the bad luck. Room 601.
Where do I begin?
I hate to give a bad review as the staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. However, the room was just a disaster, even if I overlook the budget price point. It would be criminal not to warn others.
First, the humid musky smell made it hard to breathe.
Next, the bathroom fully floods from as little as a 2 minute shower. The drain simply doesn't work. And other reviews mention this, so why not fix it??
Last, blankets and towels were dirty, and the sheets made my skin crawl/itchy.
I suspect they give the terrible room(s) to those who prepay online as you can't do much about it except review them badly when they already have your money.
This is easily the worst hotel I have stayed at in 10 years and over 15 countries.
The breakfast buffet was great, and the staff assisted in ordering an early morning taxi, so I can't rate the place zero, however comfort of the room is the main thing. Instead of cooking a feast that no one even eats, why not invest $5 a day in repairing things or washing the bedding?
