Nice stop for night on way to Inverness. This town is easier to navigate than the larger Fort William which seemed very busy when we drove through. We like smaller towns that our scenic so this fit the bill.

Great place to stay right next to Loch Ness
"Stayed for one night following completion of the NC500. Good to see Loch Ness although we missed Nessie on this occasion! Very easy check in and great facilities right in the centre of town. A few places to grab food nearby. We had a Chinese takeaway."

The Lock Inn has delicious food and an excellent staff. The coffee/breakfast place on that street is great, too. The town itself is picturesque and nestled in a beautiful area. A one-of-a-kind place.
