「An overnight stop on the way home from the North of Scotland. Very friendly staff made our short stay all the better. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and very friendly. The room was downstairs, very comfortable and nicely presented. Good space and good size bathroom. Nice little welcome pack too! 「Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day.」

「This is a great place to stay for a night or longer. The host is fantastic! She even remembers everyone’s name! The house is spotless and has beautiful views from large windows. Her breakfasts for guests are epic! The castle is located a short walk, unfortunately up, to the top of the mountain. There is a paved walking trail that leads you to restaurants, bats and shopping. We had a wonderful time staying there in those comfortable rooms!」

The breakfast is very good, it sets you up well for the day. Great advice from Stuart on where to eat and what to see locally. Everything at Ravenswood is spotlessly clean. We thoroughly recommend this great B & B.」
