「チェックインの際、朝食やWi-Fi、設備などについて、何も伝えられなかった。枕が一部臭くって利用できなかった。風呂の排水も悪かった。極めつけは、一階でパーティーをやっていて、夜中の1時過ぎまでうるさかった。ホテル側は、パーティーの開催については事前にメールしているというが、そんなメールは、直接もエクスペディアを介しても来ていない。こんなホテルには2度と泊まらない。」

「2 night stay in the hotel was excellent! Great hairdryer, mini fridge with complimentary water and shortbread, soft robes and slippers, ironing board, fan and extra heater. Leisure centre was lovely and only a short walk from the hotel, with a lovely pond and outdoor seating too. 「Lodges are lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool and changing rooms need attention. We stayed in February 2025 and 1 of the 2 showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. We have just stayed there again and it’s still out of order. The working shower is clearly getting overused so the drain blocks quickly and you end up standing in a big puddle of water as it won’t drain. Not the cleanest shower, grout etc either 」

「Lovely hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. A little tired around the edges but the staff make up for that. Food is excellent; dinner and breakfast menus are very good. Conservatory area is lovely with nice outlook. Excellent place for a short break. 」

「We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. 「This was a perfect location for us as we were driving and exploring the area. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were on site and were absolutely great hosts. One of our highlights on our vacation. The evening we arrived we were invited to have dinner at the hotel. This is a small establishment and almost has the feel of a bed and breakfast.
