「Such an incredible property with so much history and so much to do. Everything was really nice. I didn’t like being charged to park at the resort, but I have no doubt it’s very expensive to keep all the grounds looking so nice. Loved the river boat ride. Tons of great information about the hotel was given by the guide. We will be back for sure. We loved this place. 」

「This was the perfect place for a weekend away. The check in process was quick and painless. The property was just as described, quiet and secluded. It was homey, with an array of welcoming snacks and drinks, and anything you could have possibly forgotten they had you covered!! Will definitely be booking again. 」

「Perfect location, we used the recommended shuttle for downtown, highly recommend the van service. You could update your towels. So tiny and a few had holes in them, wash clothes had stains on them, other than that property had everything we needed.」

「The property, accommodations and hosts were wonderful. We experienced a nice, peaceful, wooded, cabin retreat. A joy to stay at outside of the main center of town. Any concern we had was handled promptly. Only 1 concern, as Senior Citizens, we had to walk down several soft railroad tie steps in order to access our downstairs living quarters and the outside light was placed in a spot that we couldn't see the key lock without a flashlight at night.」

「We loved this super cute cottage. The location was perfect and just a short drive to downtown and to the highway. The owner made this place feel like home and provided many items that I didn’t need to pack. Karla was the perfect host. 」

「We had a good experience and the cottage is located in a great location. It was nice to have the comforts of a home vs the hotel. Limited items in the kitchen, but for the most part there was everything us 3 couples needed. The bed in the master was basically a mattress really low to the floor. If you have a bad back or hard to get up off the floor, you might not like this. We cooked both dinner and breakfast at the house. I would definitely stay there again.」
