Grand Tipi* on a private waterfront on a pristine lake deep in the heart of Maine. Quiet nature oasis with hot tub, woodstove, firepit, grill, and all the essentials. Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead. Relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores & cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire. Snuggle up inside the tipi listening to vintage vinyl. At night, drift off to a great night of slumber in the extra long Balinesian Day bed (wide as Full size mattress and comfortable for two people). Let the owls hoot you to sleep.
The space - Spacious and peaceful 20' Tipi campsite with water views on a majestic 5 acres and 250' of private waterfront on Toddy Pond. Ideally located, this retreat is quiet and private yet only 20 mins from Belfast with its restaurants, pubs, shops, & stunning harbor!
Guest access - Guests are welcome to use the dock, kayak, canoe, and hot tub at their leisure. There is also an outdoor shower and the cleanest, amenity-filled outhouse you have ever seen.
The woodstove will keep you warm on chilly nights. But please make sure you know how to operate a woodstove. We’ve plenty of firewood on-site for purchase (one welcoming bundle is free per visit.)
There’s a lovely little outhouse, the Silvery Moon Loo, with composting toilet. During the warmer months, an outdoor shower with hot water provides exhilarating starlit showers, with a sanitation station for washing hands and dishes. Bring your own drinking water!
The dock is located about 150' from the Tipi. Sip your coffee, read a book, fly fish off the dock in the warmer months or cross country ski and ice skate across the lake in the winter. It’s all yours to relish & enjoy. Your dog is welcome at our vacation home and will absolutely love it!

We had a blast at Phoenix Landing! Such a fun alternative to camping with way more amenities. Ashley and Neal’s tipi camp truly provided everything we needed, but they also exceeded our expectations with the ambience of the tipi with beautiful decor and lighting to make it extra cozy ?? The hot water kettle worked nice and quickly. The loo was kept beautifully clean and was designed well. Lots of places to hang out (fire pit, tipi, hot tub). Everything was super clean, but I’d recommend bringing your own bedding in order to make the place feel like it’s truly yours. I brought a pillow and I’m really glad I did. We brought an extra blanket and we were thankful we had it.

This is a little slice of paradise. Owners did an amazing job curating this pond-side property and we had the perfect stay. Neal and Apollo were staying at the Cabin next to the tipi and both were extremely friendly and also respected our privacy. Highly recommend this getaway!

We stayed at the tipi for our first wedding anniversary. It was my first time doing anything close to camping and loved it. I recommend getting there before night time because when we got there it was pitch dark & we were so scared?? the first night rained & there was a thunderstorm storm which was awesome sleeping with that sound ?? the next day we used the kayaks, went into the hot tub and saw the stars at night with some shooting starts. Just perfect. Also I recommend Ralphs Cafe it’s like a 10 min drive, so good! Loved everything about this experience.

Our stay at Phoenix Landing was wonderful. We enjoyed the quiet setting on the large pond and the lack of cell phone service to relax. You are connected with nature and secluded but with a few glamping comforts like electricity & hot water. Definitely recommend if you like camping and want some peace & quiet.
