THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We really wanted to love this place; however, we couldn’t get beyond the grime. On entering the condo everything was great until you hit the bathroom. There was a lot of Humidity in moisture on the floor, which is absolutely OK, but the wads of black hair, dirt and dust just got me. Unfortunately, these conditions extended back into the bedrooms. I never should’ve looked under the bed. The location of this condo is great and it has great potential If only it was clean.

A dump
Very old wood stove is ornamental ( I asked if there was wood supplied previous to coming - got no reply. Poorly stoced kitchen. Dishwasher very loud , i think neighbors were annoyed by it. Duct tape holding handle on enterance door . Painters tape holding microwave door. Pots and pans in poor shape. The only good thing is I was able to bring my dog. Poor ventilation. Essentially no windows. Like being in a closet

This unit was not clean
Close to Stratton. Bedroom linens and towels appeared clean but no other housekeeping had been done prior to arrival. There was a snack wrapper on the couch (was going to give the benefit of the doubt that it just fell out of a bag or something, but then noticed all the other issues). Dirt, dust, crumbs, fruit pits on the floor that my dog was finding. So we had to vacuum (including lifting up bed frames to clean the fithly floors underneath so she could not get to them). There were spider webs under the bathroom mirror and in the shower (with a spider), hair in the shower, dirty dishes and utensils in the kitchen cabinets and shelves. The photos show a closet door in the kitchen but this was missing, same for the hall closet, exposing dirty door tracks, floors, and filthy cleaning supplies. I've communicated with guest services (expecting some compensation) but every time I reach out I'm told I'll hear back but I haven't.

Needs an honest walk through and thorough cleaning
The rental had used ear plugs and hair in the sheets of the bunk bed. It seemed like the bed was just made rather than turned over with new sheets. We had to wash the sheets before we were comfortable sleeping. The bathroom had pee stains underneath the toilet seat and in general looked liked it was long over due for a good scrubbing. When we tried to use the oven, smoke started coming out of it. We found oily, burnt drippings inside and decided not to use it. The microwave door was being held together by painters tape. If you're really just looking for somewhere near Stratton, very basic and don't care about the condition of the rental, this place could be ok.

Terrible if asthmatic
My lovely wife and I stayed at this condo for a night and she got incredibly allergic and had an asthma attack from the dog dander that was leftover from the previous tenants. It was so bad the inhaler was barely and we had to leave the condo and go to urgent care. Shes never had this bad of an attack from a dog that isnt present in the house with her. When we tried to move our stay, Vacasa said that they'll handle it and call back, and they eventually did handle it (not call back I called them like 5 times) and replaced the reservation completely in about 7 hours. From 10am to 7pm!! Thats almost the entire day that we didnt have our condo. We were tired, burned out and just wanted to sleep and not drive almost 3 hours back home. So, I requested for late stay and/or a partial refund, because we didnt nearly get the amount of time that we booked for, but we didnt even get a response. Overall the movement process and communication was quite poor and slow, so it may just be better to request an early leave and ask for a refund at least for the nights not stayed if there were no other issues with the condo.

Good spot for a short trip
Stayed just me (40M) and my 3 kids for a 2-day trip. Good space, comfortable beds and couch. Internet, Roku, kitchen appliances all worked without a hitch. Clean. Easy 5 min drive down access road to village/base. Would recommend.

Cozy ski condo
Not the slightist hint of 'dog' scent (it was listed as a dog friendly unit), very clean if a bit spartan and on the smaller side. Only a 5 minute drive to stratton just off the main access road. Good for a small family for a ski retreat weekend, probably would want something larger for a more extended stay. Good communication from property manager vacasa & easy checkin
