Worst Nightmare
I was told by the host the day before my mother’s funeral with my entire family flying in that he did not have a reservation for me and had the house booked to someone else. This is after payment made in full and all the typical emails including Here are the keys for your stay. I had reached out to the host for instructions on how to get into the property Friday afternoon when I got the reply that he didn’t have the reservation. I have still not found out where the fault lies but everything coming from VRBO looked just the same as always and a call to them confirmed that they had a record of the reservation. They are reimbursing my payment.
