「Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight」

「Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!」

「The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. Once we found the best way to get to the town and station, the location was perfect.. We would definitely recommend it and would love to get back!」

「Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! 「We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. 「Wir waren das 2. Jahr in Folge in dieser wunderbaren Wohnung mit tollem Blick auf den Eiger. Christine und Paul geben einem wirklich das Gefühl herzlich willkommen zu sein. Das zeigt sich vor allem in vielen Kleinigkeiten, welche in der Wohnung vorhanden sind: Neben Fondue- und Raclette- Set gibt es viele Kochzutaten, Kaffee und Tee. Die Bushaltestelle zu den Gondeln ist fast direkt vor dem Haus. Nur zu empfehlen!」

「From booking to arriving and then leaving the process was very easy. The chalet itself is stunning, photos I saw prior to arriving did not do the property justice. This is without a doubt the best property we have booked in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is stunning and has numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in town can be difficult, but there is a path across from the chalet that is a lovely cycle into town. I will book this again next year. 」

「We spent two weeks over Xmas to New Year and we had a lovely time. The apartment was as advertised and very comfortable. A little bit of traffic noise as the place was right on the road to Stechelberg (and snow ploughs when it snowed started early) but it wasn’t enough to affect the stay. Our first white Xmas and the owners had even set a Xmas tree and decorations around the apartment for our arrival. Highly recommended for a family it was wonderful 」
