「On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. 」

Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. 」

「Floor in the kitchen had major buckling a trip hazard. They needed to leave a booklet or something with directions with the Wi-Fi passcode and everything felt like we had to text. Wait for answers. We never got the pre-instructions before we got there. That was a hassle. 」

「Room was very clean and comfortable in a 1970's retro way. We didn't attempt any cooking but there seemed to be adequate provision. Could have done with a tea towel and more kitchen towel.」

「I had an excellent stay at the Failte Guesthouse. My room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice. The host Thomas, was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. 」
