"This hotel is quite new and still looks amazing. Dining room is lovely, onsen is fantastic. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We loved staying in Kameoka and commuting into Kyoto because after the crowds in Kyoto it was so refreshing to come back to quiet and clean Kameoka. We enjoyed every minute of our stay."

"We had a lovely stay here during our 3-week honeymoon in Japan. It is a glamping experience…. no tents though. Your room is in pre-fabricated units. It features big glass windows that open up wide to enjoy your outdoor surroundings, but also close up with complete privacy. Each unit has an excellent shower, with toilet and wash area. "This was a very comfortable and welcoming guest house for a very authentic Japanese experience. It had everything we needed and Kenji was very helpful and kind. The steps to the second floor are steep so it would be tricky for anyone who has difficulty walking. For anyone intimidated by sharing a bathroom or toilet- it was fine.
