"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "

"It is a perfect stay if you are budget minded. There is a lawson and matsuya next to the hostel as well as the hostel being a cafe itself. If you want to go to shimokitazawa or shinjuku you can take yoyogi hachiman which is close by. The beds are comfortable, have two power outlets, and storage for 2 medium sized luggage. The staff clean and mop the floor everyday around 12pm"

"Great location, good price for somewhere in Shinjuku. It is not super pretty, but has everything you need. Shower was hot, bed was soft and comfortable. The room was non smoking but easily accessible smoking area is in the common area. "

"It's a great place to rest, fast internet, free breakfast, a fridge where you can put your stuff, a bath where you can soak and relax. The area is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Overall it's a great place to relax."

"Very cool hostel! Has a chic coffee shop and clothing shop downstairs, host was extremely nice and made sure that people were comfortable, right next to Keisei Takasago station for easy commute. I had a great time talking and hanging out with host and fellow hostelmates, will be coming back!"

"The staff was kind and accommodating, while also being upfront about minor issues. The shower on my floor didn't have hot water, so they let guests know immediately, and were upfront about the 10 pm curfew to go through the front door, but still having the back entrance to allow us in if we stayed late at night."
