「We live in Edinburgh but had to book somewhere to stay while we were having work done at our house and Sycamore Cottage was perfect for four of us. The bedrooms are really spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped which isn’t always the case in self catering accommodation. We didn’t think we’d need to use the log burner but a typical Scottish spring meant we used it a few nights and there was plenty of logs left for it. Easy to drive into Edinburgh or can get the train from Gorebridge....

「We had a wonderful time! We came for our honeymoon and Victor and Carina made us feel so welcome! The area is so quiet and beautiful, with many places for lovely walks nearby. The cottage is perfect for two people, and the back garden is so nice for meals.」

「Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. 」

Fantastic mud room with a great space to wash and fold laundry. Easy access to some of the best coastal golf in East Lothian/Mussleburgh area. 20 minute drive to downtown Edinburgh. Beautiful grounds with deer, pheasant, rabbits. Plentiful parking outside the unit. And above all....VERY accommodating owners. Without diving too...

We had plenty of room for our group of five. With a well fitted out kitchen, a nice supply of board games, and a cozy fire in the wood stove, everyone enjoyed themselves. 「We traveled with two kids under four, my spouse, and her parents. The apartment had tons of space and a nice patio as well. This cottage is literally built within the wall of the castle grounds. The very windows you look out to see the ocean and the sheep are built right into the wall. The walk around the property is fantastic.
